RSR Announces New Partnership with Local Builders Association

TUESDAY, MAY 17th, MINNEAPOLIS, MN Residential Science Resources (RSR) is excited to announce a new partnership with the Builder’s Association of the Twin Cities (BATC). Residential Science will act as the program implementer for BATC’s new green building program to be launched later this year. The Builder’s Association will act as the program administrator and will utilize HouseRater®, RSR’s web-based database to enroll and complete homes in the program. Using HouseRater® will allow builders and raters to effortlessly complete the required checklists in order for their homes to become certified through the new program. Both parties are equally thrilled to move forward with this project. More information on this new green building program will be released in the upcoming months.

XCEL ENERGY Wins 2011 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year Award

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 11th, MINNEAPOLIS, MN Residential Science Resources (RSR) is excited to announce its longstanding client, Xcel Energy, was awarded the 2011 ENERY STAR Partner of the Year Award for New Construction by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Xcel Energy’s application received the highest score, competing with many other utilities for the award for its achievements in 2010. Key accomplishments for Xcel Energy last year include maximizing energy savings in both their Minnesota and Colorado ENERGY STAR New Homes Programs, sponsoring ENERGY STAR Trainings for homebuilders, and achieving a high market penetration rate for ENERGY STAR qualified new homes. The Partner of the Year award ceremony will be held on April 12, 2011 at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington D.C. This is Xcel Energy’s second partnership award, it also received this award in 2009 for Program Delivery. RSR is proud to support Xcel Energy’s ENERGY STAR efforts in both Colorado and Minnesota markets.
